My Autum Bucket List 2025
Happy Autumn! Although we have just over a week until the official start of autumn, the weather in the UK can change dramatically. One day it can be sunny and extremely hot, while the next day might feel cold enough to require a coat and scarf!
I’ll be totally honest with you, autumn isn’t my favourite season; however, as I’ve gotten older and now have my own place, it’s definitely starting to grow on me – I have started to embrace the darker nights, cosying up on the sofa, eating good food and watching a movie or TV series.

I really like reading other people’s bucket lists for the season to come, as well as keeping myself busy. So let’s get into my bucket list for Autumn 2025!
- Try a new recipe: I love finding new recipes on Instagram and TikTok. and save them for a later date. I alway look forward to spending my evenings cooking up some tasty, hearty dinners.
- Pumpkin patch: I’ve never actually been to a pumpkin patch in my 30 years; however autumn 2025, that’s about to change.
- Declutter: The season of decluttering isn’t just in the spring; I actually find it easier to declutter during the colder months, from september to the end of October. I have to be in the right mood and the right headspace to take the time to have a good clear.
- Craving my own pumpkin: Occasionally, I will buy a pumpkin to crave, but if I remember to actually buy one before it gets too close to Halloween. But this year I’m going to make sure I get one.
- Decorate the house with everything Halloween: I’m not really into decorating my house for Halloween; however, my sister is really into Halloween, as she enjoys decorating our place from top to bottom. We got a head start this year and also looked like mad people walking around Home Bargains the other day with almost every Halloween decoration they had on the shelf in our arms!
- Watch scary movies: I find this a great way to get into the Halloween spirit – the darker it gets, the earlier you can start watching movies, allowing you to squeeze in more scary movies into your evening!
- Go out for brunch: I’m not much of a breakfast eater; however, during the autumn/winter months, I love a hearty, full English or stack of pancakes.
- Crave my pumpkin: I’m no artist or have the perfect pumpkin-craving skills, but I do like designing a spooky and fun design to display.
- Visit a local farmers’ market: Well, during this time of the year, the farmer’s markets are easier to find and also more local. It’s probably the best time to visit a farmer’s market, including seasonal veggies and fruit.
- Go to a local fireworks display: I do love a good firework display, so I’ll be getting my tickets booked!

What will you be getting up to this autumn?
