The Ultimate Autumn Movie Watch List

As the nights grow darker, it’s the perfect opportunity to cosy up on the sofa and relax after a long day or week at work while enjoying a movie. This time of year, I love rewatching old films as well as catching up on newer movies that I haven’t had the chance to see yet.

Devil Wear Parda (2006)

Andy, who is a recent college graduate who has been dreams and upon landing a job at the most prestigious Runway magazine, finds hereself the assistant to diabolical editor Miranda Priestly. Andy questions her ability to survive her grim tour as Miranda’s whipping girl without getting scorched.

Hocus Pocus 2 (2022)

In the first movie, the Sanderson Sisters get put back under a curse, and in the second sequel, the curse is broken as three young women accidentally bring back the Sanderson Sisters into modern-day Salem. The sisters must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from making havoc on the world!

Halloween Kills (2021)

If you’ve previously watched the older Halloween sequels, then you will know the storyline of this movie a little better. Anyways, let’s get back to this movie storyline – Firstly, the nightmares aren’t over yet, as the unstoppable killer Michael Myers has escaped from Laurie Storde’s trap and continue his bloodbath.

School Of Rock (2003)

Are you a big fan of Jack Black? If your answer is yes, then this movie is a must-watch for you! It’s about an enthusiastic guitarist, Dewey Finn, who gets thrown out of his bar band and finds himself in desperate need of work. He poses as a substitute music teacher at an elite private elementary school, and exposes his students to the hard rock gods he idolises – consternation of the uptight principal (Joan Cusack).

Knives Out (2019)

Matilda

If you love watching nostalgic films, then the beloved film adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic book, ‘Matilda‘. The storyline is about a gifted girl with a keen intellect and psychic powers used to get her callous family and free her kindly schoolteacher from the tyrannical grip of a sadistic headmistress.
