A Day In A Life – What I Got Upto Lately!
11/3/26
I know I’ve posted this “Day in my life” blog a little late, but life has been really busy with work and little diy projects that I’ve been trying to get done ever since I moved into my flat – anyway, that is for another blog.

About two weeks ago, I decided to take a day trip to the beach with my sister, my dog and her dog – both dogs absolutely love the beach! Plus, the weather was surprisingly really beautiful – 14 degrees without raining, which in the UK doesn’t happen often during this time of the year.

It took around two and a half hours from Northamptonshire to Hunstanton, including plenty of extra diversions, because I can’t for the life of me follow a sat nav without getting a little lost! I hope this happens with everyone and that I’m not the only one – my sister laughs at me all the time, and now it’s ended up becoming a running family joke that every driving trip will involve a diversion or two.

When we finally arrived at the coast, we took a walk down to the beach. We ended up walking about 2 miles before deciding to turn back—the views of the coast helped, as did the beautiful, sunny weather. We then treated ourselves to some fresh doughnuts and fish and chips before heading back to the car – the doughnuts were so good.

After around 4 hours at the beach, we started making the journey back home, again involving plenty of diversions, because come on, at this point, it wouldn’t be a true trip with me driving without taking a few wrong turns! In the end, the day turned out to be wonderful, filled with many unforgettable moments.
