Makeup Products To Cover Blemishes

Since i was a teenager, i have been extremely insecure about  my skins appearance…especially my face. The main reason for my insecurity about the appearance of my face is that i suffered acne. And now i have been left with very dark and noticeably blemishes and scars. Over the years, I’ve probably tried well over 25+ different foundations and concealer [including, budget price brand and more highly priced brand], in order to find that one product with will hide  every scar and blemish on my face!

About 2 months ago now, i purchased ‘L’Oreal Infallible 24hr’ and ‘L’Oreal Infallible 24hr Concealer pomade’. I’ve previously mentioned both of  these products in a different blog…but what will say is that both of these are by far my favourite foundation and concealer product. It’s also probably the best full coverage products that does actually hide uneven skin tone, scars and blemishes on the skin.

 L’Oreal Infallible 24hr Concealer Pomade

I been wearing makeup since about 13 years old. I’ve probably used every make product going, ranging from budget brands, mid range brands, your bit more pricey brands. But since using this concealer, I’ve certainly notice a huge different in the was my skin looks. Also i feel so much more confidence went going out. I don’t constantly feel like everyone is looking and judging me. This concealer also covers blemishes and scar so much better than a lot of over brands including some expensive ones. When i’m buying a concealer, i always   get a shade darker than my foundation, just so that it gives that extra coverage. A tick that i do it, is to wear my concealer underneath mu foundation, and you don’t have to blend the product together to much.

Another positive thing about this concealer is that, it has a waterproof formula, so it great for the beach and for when you go on holiday.

 L’Oreal Infallible 24hr Foundation

If you have combination to oily skin then this foundation i would highly recommend. Since using this foundation for well over 2 months, i have found that it doesn’t melt off my face within the first 5 minutes from when i put my make up on. I got this foundation on my latest trip into superdrug. I have tried a few other product within the L’Oreal range and loved them, so i thought i would give the ago.

I don’t tend to go for liquid foundation but i’m so glad that i did, because i love how evens out my skin and defiantly hide the scar and blemishes that i have on my face.

The only downside is that i don’t think i would last longer than 12hr on oily skin types, but it last much longer than a lot of foundation that are actually specifically target to oily skin. And the best new it that is that it doesn’t have huge price tag, as you can pick it up from places like superdrug, boot, etc….for £10.99.

If  this makeup range is a little out of your price range or even that these products aren’t right for your skin type, then don’t worry…cos there are so many other great makeup brands and products on the market. Here’s a couple that i would highly recommended and also have previously tried myself. One of my long time favourite and is also a full coverage foundation  ‘Maybelline SuperStay 24hr Full Coverage Foundation’, and Concealer ‘Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer’, both of which I have used for well over a year. The main reason why i loved it, is that it didn’t make my skin look or feel too oily. Another good thing, is that i didn’t start melting off my face straight after i did my  make up.

Let me know the brands and products that you use or have used? Because i would love to try a few new makeup brand out myself.
