Meet Bonnie, My Shih Tzu

Hello! I thought it was about time that I finally introduced you to Bonnie! She just turned sixteen weeks, so has been with me for just over 6 weeks now and it’s been the most chaotic but also the dreamiest time.

For years now, I’ve been saying that wanted a little puppy but has never been the right time. However, as of this year, I purchased a property with my younger sister and thought now was the perfect time.

She is a beautiful and very cheeky Shih Tzu and I’m completely in love with her. Don’t get me wrong, it’s been very tiring since the very night I got picked her up, but I can’t imagine the house my life without her.

She loves licking your entire face every time she sees you (even if it’s only been 5 minutes), cuddling, learning new things, going out for walks and playing in the garden every chance she gets. And oh my, she loves her food and water.

Bonnie is so loveable and very clever. She has mastered “sit” but we’re still working on a few small things as she loves to pick up everything and anything that she can get her mouth on but has not quite mastered “drop” but is getting there!

I have started to leave her alone now, for a couple of hours every other day. I have a little camera to make sure to all good when I’m out, but atm she seems to be fine. She tends to sleep for the majority of the whole time that I’m out. Currently, it’s just a case of making sure she feels comfortable and knowing she can trust me to come back!
