Meal planning really feels like you super grown-up. Showing that you have really got you sh!@t together. Cos not only do you know what your having for dinner ~but also~ what night too. When i first heard about meal planning, i thought that it would be so much hard work…but actually it can be bloody fabulous! Cos who wouldn’t want to spend more time watching movies and less time in the kitchen.

Organise Yourself – It’s probably one of the many important things out of the whole meal planning. You might be asking yourself…how can i organise myself to plan and make meals for a week? It might make no sense! But what i mean is, make sure you;ve got all of those basics…..like tupperware boxes, salt & pepper. And if your haven’t make sure to add then to your shopping list.

Look At The Week Ahead – You may think it’s super simple but there came be time when you forget your going out with friends one night, or that your on a work trip. I tend to keep my meal planner on my fridge and i find it ot be so helpful. It’s really simple, as your able to plan for the week and know what meals you’ve got coming up. Also it means you can switch things around at the last minutes, whilst being able to see it all right in front of you. With that being said, i thought it would be a nice idea to attach my own meal planner for you to print out and use it! I’ve attached a link down below, so feel free you start using it.

Make A List – It may seen like you’ve created a huge shopping list, but you’ve got to remember how many meal you are meal planning for. But make sure that you’ve listed your shopping list in a way that works for you. It can be pen on paper, using your note on your phone or an organization app.

Pick Recipe’s You LoveI think this is definitely another important thing about meal planning, is that you’ve really got to think about what meals your going to fancy at the time. There’s is really no point in making a particular dish, knowing that you aren’t going to like it that make. I tend to find a lot of my meal plan ideas from pinterest, as it work so good as your able to visualise everything and think about what is going to work for you for that week.

Put Time Aside For The Making – This may take some time and there’s no way of getting around it, but in the end you will thank yourself. I usually find it to be easy pre on a sunday afternoon. I find it to be really relaxing and a lot easier to get a lot of things done, whilst knowing that i’m going to have more spare time during the week. I know my way might not work for everyone, just find a something that does. Also it doesn’t matter whether your doing meal prep before work or mid0day, just bear in mind that you will need to put in a little time!

Have Fun – Don’t take that whole prepping too seriously. It’s really simple, just pick a few meals that you love and make them, then put them in your freezer…Enjoy!

I hope you have found this post useful and remember you can download your free meal planner >>HERE<<. I can’t for you see using it. Good luck!
