Spice Up Christmas & Get Into The Festive Spirit, With These 5 Delicious Mocktails!

‘Tis the season to be jolly and get into the festive spirit! But how can you get into the festive spirit, when there are no actual spirits? Lime sodas and sugary mocktail just doesn’t quite cut it during the christmas season, which means you really need a few great choices of alcohol-free winter cocktails to choose from that will for sure get you into the festive mood.

Have a berry Merry Christmas

Ingredients

  • 1 handful raspberry
  • 1 handful blueberry
  • 1 spring fresh mint leaf
  • 30ml Lime juice
  • 1tbsp honey
  • Ice
  • 1 splash soda water

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker or tall glass, place the raspberries, blueberries and mint
  2. Add in the lime juice, sweetener and ice and shake until well combined. If you don’t have cocktail shaker simply pour back and forth between two glasses until combined.
  3. Strain the mixture over ice and top with a splash of soda water.
  4. Granish with berries mint.
  5. Then enjoy!

Margarita Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 to 1/2 soda
  • Flaky seas salt and lime wedge for the rim and garnish
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. First, wet the rim of the glass with the lime wedge before dipping it into the flaky salt.
  2. Add some ice cubes into the glass, before pouring in the lime and orange juice.
  3. Top off with soda.
  4. Lastly, garnish as desired and serve.

Egg Cream

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup cold milk

Instructions

  1. First, chill your glass in the fridge for a few minutes.
  2. Then pour the cold milk into your cold glass, followed by water.
  3. Add the syrup into the glass and stir thoroughly.
  4. Serve and enjoy!

Christmas Mimosa Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1 rosemary sprig or cranberries to garnish
  • 2 cups soda water

Instructions

  1. Pour in the soda water and cranberry juice into a champagne flute.
  2. Garnish with rosemary sprig and serve.

Eggnog Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs (2 egg yolks)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp grated nutmeg
  • 1/4 heavy cream

Instruction

  1. Combine the eggs, egg yolk, sugar and salt can continue to whisk whilst adding in the milk slowly.
  2. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and stir until it thickens – takes about 50-60 mins. Once the mixture has thickened, strain it into a fine sieve.
  3. Add in the vanilla extract and nutmeg until fully combined
  4. Pour the strained mixture into a glasss pitcher, decanter or container and cover. Refrigerate for 3-4 days.
  5. After 3-4 days, pour in the heavy cream into a bowl and whip until a soft peak can be formed.
  6. Finally, top the whipped cream in with the cold custard and mixture. Garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg and serve.
