What A Year 2025 Has Been! So Here’s A Quick Roundup Of The Whole Year In One Post.
What a year 2025 has been! I have definitely had my fair share of experiencing some highs and very lows in my life. Also, so much has changed, from starting without a job to ending with a new job, and making loads of new memories in between.

But before I leave 2025 behind and step into a new year, I want to sit down and actually see how far I’ve come throughout the year and what kind of things I’ve overcome.
So let’s get into it….
- January – A fresh start and new goals that I set for myself. 1. Of course, finding myself a new job. 2. fixing my car. 3. Get back into investing in my small Etsy business – creating new earring designs.
- February – Take a day trip to the beach. Yep, I’m aware that it’s early for the beach, but the dogs absolutely, even though it was freezing a raining.
- March – No job! But after 7 long months, I finally found a new job then started it that same month.
- April – Opened up a savings account for fixing my car and for a future new car.
- May – I really didn’t do much during this month, just carried on working towards my goals.
- June – Unfortunately, from not having a job and, of course, my car had to partically break down on me, after a couple of months, I finally got my car fixed and back on the road – I really do make my car work for the money!
- July – Took a little weekend trip to Devon for a friend’s wedding, and it was also my sister’s birthday; I attempted to make her birthday inspired by her favourite Disney Pixar character – bear in mind that she is 23.
- August – Continued to work towards my savings goals.
- September – Started to save up for a new desk – I have limited space, as I currently own a small two-bedroom, but I needed a little office desk so I can have a space to be able to do my Etsy stuff.
- October – I booked pumpkin patch tickets for my sister and me to get our pumpkins. I also
- officially started my christmas shopping, and I have to be honest that my list of people that I have to buy for isn’t that big. However, I still like to start buying early, as it still costs a fair bit!
- November – Finished the christmas shopping list and started wrapping everything up.
- December – This is the month of lots of birthdays and Christmas-related stuff – my nan’s birthday at the start of the month and my birthday is 5 days before christmas. Then on top of that, there is christmas.

So there you have it, a quick little roundup of the kind of things that I got up to throughout the year of 2025. As I look back on how 2025 treated me, it was mainly growth, as I really didn’t see it month by month, but as I reflect back now, I see how far I’ve come. This year didn’t start well, as I was a broken version of myself, a person whom I now don’t recognise but still appreciate – as if I weren’t who I was then, I would not have grown or achieved so much.
As we are about to bring in a brand new year, which is 2026… I really want to look at how much I can grow throughout the year and see what goals I can smash. Here’s to an old me with a few upgrades!
