I know it’s 4 days into september, but the holiday is still in full swing. I love to reading travel beauty essential blogs, as it can be hard knowing what you should take, without over packing. So i thought i would go ahead and share some beauty products that i will be taking on my holiday.

I don’t know about you, but 90% of the time  my holiday mostly consist of makeup-free skin (with SPF, of course!).

The first i do is, i pack everything i think i will need and then i will start taking out a least a 1/3 of the products. I try really hard to stay very basic, as lets be honest you will probably most of you time relaxing either by the pool or on the beach topping up you glowing tan (but remember to be safe, by making sure you alway have plenty of suncream on and reapply between every 2-4 hours).

Obviously we all have different types of holiday, some people like to really glam up in the evening, by all means, go OTT, but me personally, i believe minimal is better.

In terms of skincare, i stayed really basic and only took Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Foaming Facial Cleanser, Nip + Fab No Needle Fix Eye Cream and Garnier Moisture Bomb Sakura Hydrating Face Sheet Mask. I also had a tiny dove deodorant which is prefect for traveling and will last for a whole 7 days.

The suncream that i alway use is Nivea Mist Spray SPF 50, whether i’m at home or away aboard on holiday. I alway use a high SPF, whether it’s overcast or a beautiful hot, summers day. Don’t get me wrong, i love getting a tan, but i still don’t to get burn like a crisp.

I seen to take few selections of lip products. But when your selecting a colour to wear, remember about that potential tan you’ll be getting. Silly me,  took a couple of pale  colour lip sticks and when i went to put it on, it made me look a little scary LOL! But another thing to remember is to only wear lipstick/lip balm when your not in the sun. I would recommend having a lip balm that contains SPF – i tend to use the brand Piz Buin SPF 30.

My other items of makeup that wear during the evenings are GOSH Dextreme Full Cover Foundation, a dash of the Benefit Blusher, Tarte ‘Lights, Camera, Lashes’ Mascara and Chella Eyebrow Cream. I don’t tend to wear a lot of makeup whilst i’m holiday, as i find that the humidity makes my skin look really oily.

Do you often find yourself over packing for your summer holiday? What are you beauty essential for when you go away?
