I LOVE every themed occasion, I mean if anyone knows me well, they will know that i love any kind of occasion….And halloween is no exception. This time of the year is all about pumpkins, with the weather becoming colder, halloween just around the corner and the clocks turning back in the next few weeks, it is really starting to feel more and more like everyday! I didn’t have many fall/halloween decorations, before going on a fall decoration shopping spree, a few days ago.
SO let’s go ahead and get down to business. You might be wondering “what the hell are you going to be doing with all these pumpkins”? WELL….I looked on pinterest and came across three ideas that i’ve given ago. It’s has really make me feel so much more Autumny and i had so much doing them – so i though i would share.
Pumpkin Decoration
I thought this year i would step things up a notch and decorate with mini pumpkins. I didn’t want to go too crazzyy, but still wanted it to seem aumtummy. I already had around eighthundredandone candles, so the mini pumpkins kinda fitted in. I found this to be super simple but yet a lovely way to make you home a little cosier.

Halloween isn’t halloween if you do’t crave a least one pumpkin…And when i say that your never to old to crave a pumpkin i really do mean it, you just never are – come on, how can with leave all the fun to the little ones when we all can join in. This year i decided to take a risk and give pinterest pumpkin a go…and you know what, i actually kinda worked out! Even though i still did the classic face, i also decided to give the pinterest idea a go. You still cut the top and gut it…you then sketch out you chosen image – my choice was a cat, moon and spider. Even though it was a little wonky, i still thought it turned out super cute {well, as cute a craved pumpkin can look….LOL
Make Sweet Pumpkin Treats
I’m actually really impressed with how well this pumpkin pie turned out….You all know that my baking sessions don’t alway go turn out too great. But when i came across this recipe on simple recipes – and it was amazing.
Baking with pumpkins might not seem the most obvious thing to do, but trust me when i say it’s totally worth it. I was super proud of myself, as i actually made my own pumpkin puree – it tasted bloody delicious and was super easy to make. If any the recipes say to use tinned pumpkin puree, why not gab one of your leftover pumpkins and give it a go from scratch.
