With the weather recently being super hot and all of us maximising the sunshine day’s by eating out and drinking, there’s still time in our day to fulfill our love for Netflix and quite (literally) chill! And knowing what unmissable TV shows are waiting for us when we get home is really important.

What’s it about? It’s a tale as old as time in romcoms – and it works everytime – unlikely couple swear not to fall in love, then hijinks ensue. Asha (Pallavi Sharda) and Ravi (Suraj Sharma) pretend to date to survive a wedding season, but things get complicated when they develop feelings for each other.
Wedding Season is released on Netflix on 4 August.
I Just Killed My Dad
What’s it about? An “unprecedented” documentary following the story of Anthony Templet, who shot his father and openly admitted it. The Netflix synopsis for I Just Killed My Dad reads: “why he did it is a complex question with profound implications that go far beyond one family”.
I Just Killed My Dad is released on Netflix on 9 August.
Night Shift
What’s it about? Pool cleaning dad Jamie Foxx plays a secret vampire killer (!!) by night in this horror-slash-thriller-comedy, which also stars Snoop Dogg.
