CLE, Estate & Maybelline Highlighter Review.

Before we get started, I just wanted to say that I wasn’t sent these items to review, I actually received them in one of my monthly subscription boxes a few months back and I paid for that myself. I find the best way to try new brands and products, is through having a monthly subscription box, like birchbox, glossy box.

CLE Moonlight Cushion £22.00

When it comes to highlighters I am very picky. I don’t particularly like liquid or ones that make your face look over shiny. But in birchbox a few months ago I received a highlighter from the brand the CLE and I haven’t stopped using it since. It’s not a highlighter that I would typically go for but nevertheless, it’s one that I would recommend trying it out. It has a cushion that’s infused with pearl powder and moisturised essence – perfect for adding luminous and iridescent radiance glow to your make-up or skin. It’s also long-lasting and fragrance-free, with bergamot fruit oil, orange oil & ylang ylang.

Estate Baked Highlight Powder £10

I actually hadn’t heard of the brand ‘estate’ before trying the highlighter, but I must say that since I’ve been wearing it I am really impressed with how well it brightens and highlights with just one easy and effortless sweep.

The silky-smooth powder is great for highlighting your nose tip, cheekbones and brow bones which is perfect to achieve a natural, healthy glow. The baked technology is great for creating light texture and buildable radiance, but if that wasn’t enough…..the product is also cruelty-free and paraben free!

Maybelline Master Strobing Liquid Highlighter £7.99

This Maybelline liquid highlighter formula contains a micro-fine pearl, the helps to boost your skin with a subtle, natural glow. Another great thing about this product is that you can mix the translucent liquid with foundation or can be sparingly put onto particular areas of your face – great for adding dimension to the bridge of your nose or nose tip, cheekbones, brow bones/arch. It’s also very affordable, so you don’t have to break the bank in order to achieve that summer glow. Win, Win!
