Spring Makeup Essentials

With winter behind us (fingers crossed until autumn!), the longer, brighter, and hotter days call for a much-needed change in your makeup bag. During this time of year, I prefer to incorporate lighter and neutral colors for a simpler, more natural look.

Recently, I have been using a combination of foundation, concealer, and highlighter for my makeup routine. Specifically, I have been enjoying the L’Oreal Infallible 24h foundation which provides a great base for my makeup while giving a natural and radiant look. Additionally, I have been adding warmer shades to my makeup collection.

Lately, I’ve been incorporating warmer shades into my makeup collection, especially for concealer. This is because I’m not a fan of using powdered products like bronzers. Instead, I prefer to use a slightly darker concealer to avoid looking too pale and washed out. To complete the look, I blend in the concealer and lightly fill in my brows.

I prefer a natural appearance and a simple cat flick is perfect for achieving it. It’s suitable for daytime wear, but can also be enhanced with a smokey black eyeliner for a striking night-out look! This has easily become one of my favourite beauty styles. I adore summer, so having an effortless look to match is wonderful.
