Spring Makeup

Now that the winter days have been and gone [hopefully for good now, until it’s time for autumn!] and with the days being longer, brighter and hotter, it’s a very long over due change up to your makeup bag. Around this time of the year i tend to introduce more lighter and neutral colours for a more simple, natural look.

The look is fairly straightforward, with the base being simply foundations, concealer and highlighter. I have recently been really loving the L’Oreal Infallible 24h foundation. It’s a great base to start off with, as well as giving you a really lovely natural glow!

I’ve started to add in warmer tones in my collection especially when it come to concealer. Mainly because I don’t particularly like to use powdered product [like bronzes], so instead i opt for a slightly darker concealer [just to stop myself from looking far too pale and washed out], then to finish it off i just blend in the concealer and lightly fill in my brows!
To carry on with the natural look, i love a simple cat-flick. It’s great during the day, but can also be easily layered with a smokey black eyeliner to form a great night-out look! This look has become one of my favourite look. Summer is by far on of my favourite times of the year, so it’s really nice to have an easy and straightforward look to go with it. Let me know in the comments, what’s your favourite beauty products this time of the year are!
