Recently, concealer has become my go-to. I really love how quick and easy it is to apply and make’s you look awake, especially on those early starts and late night finishes or just on a low-key day – that involves staying in you pj’s all day…. those are my fave! I also love how the right concealer can make your skin look radiant, more brighter and healthier and all with little-to-no effort! I have definitely had my fair share of my favourite brands and concealers and I have managed to narrow it down to just five……. Yes five. To be honest, I don’t know how I even manage to just pick five…… but I did, so here they are.
Maybelline Dream Brightening Creamy Concealer: When it comes to concealers, I am really, really picky… like extremely picky. So when I first tried this maybelline brightening concealer, I had high expectations and thankfully it lived up to all of them! It’s great for wearing underneath your foundation or just on it’s own.
L’Oreal Infallible Concealer Pomade: For years now I have been using the traditional liquid concealer, but since I’ve came across L’Oreal new 24hr concealer, I find it to be a game changer for me. I absolutely love how creamy the formula is…perfect for covering up your imperfections, dark circles/spots, blemishes and redness, plus it can last for up to 24 hrs – so it’s perfect for work or a girly night-out!
Revlon Colorstay Concealer: I love a concealer that gives you a full coverage, is undetectable and leaves you with a flawless matte finish, that lasts for up to 24hrs….well you in for a treat because this Revlon Colorstay concealer does just that. It’s great for covering up your problematic areas like; dark under eyes or blemishes. Another thing I like about this product is that even thought it’s full coverage, it still feels super lightweight and makes my skin look natural and flawless
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer: This ‘iconic’ tarte concealer is a little pricey, but so worth it. It feels so lightweight and when I’m wearing it as well as leaving with a flawless matte finish. I have particular oily skin and I find this concealer to be one the best that I’ve tried in a long time…cos it actually stay on for the entire day! The vegan, super creamy formula, won’t cause flaking or creases but will instantly help to brighten, smooths & gives your skin a firmer and more lifted look. It can also double up as a highlighter/contour!!!….how cool is that!
