How To Survive A UK Winter.
The UK is a wonderful place to live and there are alot of things about the country that will bring joy, more so during the christmas season. It’s so cold here in the UK, i mean so, so cold and the winter are so long too.
Even though i’ve lived here for my whole life so far, i still don’t love the cold weather, so it can be really tough to survive the winter, the freezing temperatures and shorter days.
I have put together a few tips to hopefully help to get you though the winter.
Keep Up A Supply Of Hot Chocolate

Collect Cozy Throw Blankets
Being cozy is the key to handling the winter. Softer the throw is, the better. I literally have throws dotted around the house, in every room to be exacted. So everyone will be able to gab a throw at anytime, so they can always feel cosy and comfortable.
Get Into Baking And Cooking
Whether or not you go a little OTT with christmas cookies, but baking throughout the winter period can be a tasty journey that you can become lost in, especially on a chilly wintery day. Both cooking and baking can be nourshing and comforting foods, with the likes of vegetable stew and hearty cassroles.
Fresh Air And A Winter Walk
Why not get bundled up all in your winter gear and go out for a walk. The brisk cool air just might clear your mind, even if it’s only for 5-10 mins. Then you can recover with a nice hot drink when you come back.
Decorate Your Home With Candles
You can never had to many scented candles. Once lit, the glow of the candle light is not only easy on your eyes, it’s also adds coziness and warmth to the room.
Find New Hobbies That Will Bring You Joy
We are all different people and we all have different interests and hobbies that bring us enjoyment and happeniess. The winter blues are real, so remember not to forget to uptake things that bring you joy; whether they are days out small things like reading a book, playing video games or binge watching netflixs series. Find things that truly makes you smile and happy, prioties them all through the winter period.
