Usually, makeup products that are seen on social media [like Instagram Tikok or Facebook] I simply look at and quickly move on, but the thought’s very few [and I seriously mean very few] that do peck my curiosity enough to where I purchase them myself.
So when I saw that BareMinerals had launched ‘Blonzer’ back in 2021 and that it had made waves over on TikTok, I would be lying if I said that it didn’t peck my curiosity and I was drawn by the ridiculous [but in a good way] name ‘Blonzer’ – simply meaning that it’s both a blusher and bronzer – and the more I thought about it, the more I like the products and how it could slimline down my make up routine for the better.
I don’t tend to use blusher or bronzer that much, cos to be honest I’ve never quite mastered the art of getting just the right amount to where I don’t end up looking like ‘coco the clown’. When I look into what the product was and then found out that it was both blusher and bronzer, I found myself full-on obsessed with it. I’m also very in need [both mentally and physically] of a sunkissed look, as here in the UK we aren’t overly blessed with a lot of lovely hot summery days. Plus, i’m a really big fan of product the feel lightweight and comfortable to wear, as it can be really easy for makeup to look cakey or heavy.
In the past, I’ve avoided shimmer products as they usually scare me as they can emphasise pores and acne scarring, however, this product isn’t glittery instead it just adds a pretty luminous glow.
