Now that we are slowly but surely heading to one of our favourite holidays. But can you believe that we are in single digits to Easter Sunday?! So how will you be spending easter this year?

Well, even though the majority of us would much rather make the most of the weekend, by relaxing and not making a lot of movement, apart from walking to the dinner table for a good old traditional Sunday dinner. However few would much rather take the opportunity to take an early spring trip to Europe, but if your budget can’t stretch that far [thanks to the living costs], there are still plenty of super fun ways to celebrate the holiday from home this year.

Here’s little reminder if you haven’t forgotten when Easter is: Easter Sunday this year falls on Sunday 9th April, so the countdown is well and truly ON…

Plan an unforgettable egg hunt

Why not bring back our favourite nostalgic Easter tradition and let our inner child come out with an epic Easter egg hunt? Even if you’re in a poky little flat, you can still buy a bunch of small Easter eggs and hide the around the flat, and create cryptic clues for your significant other or housemates to follow.

Challenge yourself to a digital detox

To be honest, you’ll probably be far too busy eatting to even look down at your phone but easter could actually be the perfect time to switch off completely and allow your mind to take a well needed breather – turn off your phone [ or at least hold off on looking at your social media apps], go on a very lovely long walk and finally make a dent in the stack of book that have been sitting on your bedside table for months.

Pretend that you’re on bake off

Is it even easter if your house doesn’t smell freshly baked hot cross buns at some point over the easter weekend? Even though you can make them from scratch and fairly easy to do, you can still pick up a pack of freshly baked hot cross buns at the supermarket, which taste lovely too.
